Griboyedov - Located in a bomb shelter and operated by the band Dva Samaliota, Griboyedov is generally full and cool, with a good habit of booking alternative bands to mix with its standard rave and techno. Jakata - Open since Dec. 2002, this elitist club claims to host trendy local and international DJs and seems to be very choosy about its audiences. With memberships canceled from Dec. 2003, the public can get in only by passing strict face control. Coffee bar and restaurant now open from noon daily. house club that opened with a concert by Julie Cruise, of "Twin Peaks" fame, in November 2001. Officially an extension of the International Cultural Center, located on the same premises. Photo and art exhibitions, cult film screenings. Very rare live concerts.

- Intended to blow the competition away when it first opened, with a great layout and loads of space. Needs to be full, otherwise its emptiness is overwhelming. Originally for the progressive crowd, it now attracts all kinds, including suburban kids and thugs in shell suits.
